Calling all members, supporters, and friends of Team Assorted Nuts !!! It is time once again to rise up and DO SOMETHING FOR CancerCare!!! Once again, we are virtual – no team walk, run, dog walking. Boo!! But once again, we will NOT let stinkin’ COVID-19 keep Team Assorted Nuts from fulfilling its annual mission of raising funds for CancerCare!!!! CancerCare needs our support now more than ever! During this challenging time, CancerCare's services have adapted to meet the needs of those diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. Just like last year, CancerCare’s fundraising campaign is called “Do Something for CancerCare.” Whether or not you can personally donate, you can help us raise funds and pay forward what you or a loved one has received. Virtually, together in spirit, or physically together socially distanced and/or wearing masks, Team Assorted Nuts will meet the challenge. But we need your support. You can either register and join our team and fulfill the challenge (below), do your own activity on behalf of Team Assorted Nuts and let us know about it, or simply donate to support our efforts and, more importantly, CancerCare.
This year, I challenge you to dance to the song “Blinding Lights” by the Weeknd, video your dance, and share it with us! (Okay, I “borrowed” that challenge idea from last year’s list of top TikTok challenges – don’t give me grief people!! Here’s a sample https://youtu.be/XYIc6fZw0MQ ) As Captain, I will donate an additional $5 for each team member who completes this challenge and shares/posts their dance video!!! Dance alone, dance with someone else, dance as a group, dance in costume…..surprise us!! Anyone and everyone can participate – no matter where in the world you might be! (Shout out to you in Tokyo, May!!) The Team Assorted Nuts Do Something for CancerCare challenge can be completed in your own neighborhood, at a local park, a treadmill, your backyard, your kitchen …..anywhere. Sign up and spread the word and ask others to join and/or support Team Assorted Nuts.

Now, more than ever, we need your help!
When you support CancerCare, you make our mission possible as we provide help and hope to anyone impacted by a cancer diagnosis, including caregivers, families and the bereaved. CancerCare’s support services are free.
Whether or not you can personally donate, you can ask your family and friends to support you in any activity you choose.

How Do You Raise Money?
Do you know 20 people who can donate $50? Or 40 people who can donate $20?
If 500 people donate $100, we will raise $50,000! If we double those numbers, we will raise $100,000! Some can raise more, some can raise less. It all adds up.
