Dear Friends and Family,
Help me celebrate my very Jewish milestone (72 years old 4 x 18!) birthday by doing a good deed for CancerCare.
The annual DO SOMETHING FOR CancerCare bagel/walk event will be held Sunday, September 15th, 2024, 9-11am in Carl Schurz Park (just inside the @87 & East End Avenue entrance.) Bagels with cream cheese to be provided and as someone recommended last year, I am happy to provide your favorite flavor bagel, too. Just bring your own beverage and sparkling personality!
As always, having a community of friends and family celebrating and supporting a very important non-profit organization is my favorite way to embrace a new year. Dogs are most welcome, as are kiddos of any age.

Do Something for CancerCare is a “Do It Yourself” way to raise funds for a great cause, and participating is fun and easy!
Now, more than ever, we need your help!
When you support CancerCare, you make our mission possible as we provide help and hope to anyone impacted by a cancer diagnosis, including caregivers, families and the bereaved. CancerCare’s support services are free.
Whether or not you can personally donate, you can ask your family and friends to support you in any activity you choose.

How Do You Raise Money?
Do you know 20 people who can donate $50? Or 40 people who can donate $20?
If 500 people donate $100, we will raise $50,000! If we double those numbers, we will raise $100,000! Some can raise more; some can raise less. It all adds up.
